Deco Sigma 20 BioPak
The Tornos Sigma 20 BioPak™ is a Swiss-made sliding headstock turning center made exclusively for the North American medical industry. It includes a high-speed thread whirling attachment and cutter, turning holders, live mill spindles, an offset tool block, end-working blocks, a Rego-Fix starter kit, LNS high pressure coolant system, and fully-integrated bar loader and Donaldson oil mist extraction unit. A key benefit of the BioPak is the Tornos "done-in-one" concept: with one setup, one machine and one source (Tornos), parts cut on a Tornos require no de-burring or secondary finishing. Also standard on the BioPak: Swiss stability; simultaneous machining on front and back spindles; tool versatility (front and backworking tools can be used in any combination); one-inch bar stock capability; and optimized ergonomics. The BioPak produces flawless parts at speed up to 50% faster than other brands.
